An exciting opportunity for an experienced data analyst to join the ANAO.
The ANAO’s purpose is to support accountability and transparency in the Australian Government sector through independent reporting to the Parliament, and thereby contribute to improved public sector performance.
You will work in a highly skilled Data Analytics team to help our auditors to use data to provide audit assurance and insights. You will have opportunity to work on a wide range of government data and solve challenging problems with contemporary analytical techniques using tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau and Qlik Sense. You will also have opportunity to work with emerging and innovative technology, including tools for statistical modelling, data mining, text mining and process mining.
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. However, the following are highly desirable:
-Tertiary qualifications in a discipline that requires analysis of complex information, interpretation and written reporting of findings;
-The ability to apply the Python programming language for data analytics tasks.
